On the second day of the exchange on Gender PB Practices and Community Outreach, the members of Prisma Network, North Macedonian counterparts and representatives of UN Women Albania🇦🇱 and UN Women Skopje 🇲🇰 were invited by Mr. Ilir Xhakolli, the Mayor of the host Municipality of Pogradec. 🏢Being part of the discussion we as a joint group were honored to hear the municipality approach on application of gender mainstreaming and GRB principles local joint actions with the CSOs on engaging women and marginalized communities through gender participatory budgeting processes.💡 Moderated by UN Women, GRB regional program manager Mrs. Ermira Lubani, great experiences were shared, such as the new service of 72 hrs emergency center ⚠ highlighted by Mayor Ilir Xhakolli in his speech, the role of CSOs in service provision and community outreach pointed out by Deputy Mayor Mrs. Entela Gusho.An overview of the country intervention on the advancement of GRB processes and importance of joint actions was emphasized by Mrs. Esti Bulku, Head of Programme of UN Women Albania. Further know-how transfer was underlined by representative of Prisma Network Mrs. Fabiola Laco-Egro and on behalf of North Macedonia counterparts by Head of Council of Bitola Municipality Mrs. Gabriela Ilievska.
